Flash Media Player 4.2

The first thing you need to know about the GoldSolution Software-developed application Flash Media Player is what it is and what it can do for you. The Flash Media Player application is a Flash tool designed as a Macromedia Flash player and manager. It has the following functionality to offer:

- Download Flash movies from the web
- Built-in viewer to play Flash movies
- Capture Flash images and use them as your desktop wallpaper or simply save them
- Easily create a Flash screensaver or a Flash screensaver installer that you can distribute to others
- Convert SWF and EXE flash movies

Before you can enjoy the functionality Flash Media Player has to offer, you must go through two simple steps: download and install the application on your Windows-powered machine. The good news is that neither of these steps will take long to complete.

The download weighs in at some 4.8MB. Downloading 4.8MB off the web and onto you computer will definitely not take a long time, not even if you are on a less than spectacular internet connection. To my mind, not having to wait a long time for a download to complete is always a good thing.

Installing the application will take little time as well – just follow the instructions presented by the setup wizard and you will be done in no time at all. It must be mentioned here that Flash Media Player provides support for the following versions of the Microsoft-developed Windows operating system Windows 98, ME, 2000, Server 2003, XP, Vista and Windows 7 (at the time of writing this; according to the developer).

Please note that Flash Media Player is only free to try. This means you can use the application free of charge for a trial period of 15 days. Once that period is over, you will have to get a license to keep using the application.
